About
Resurrection Catholic School is a Catholic private school for grades PreK through 8 located in Lakeland, Florida. With a strong focus on academic excellence, spiritual development and service to others, RCS strives to nurture and develop students to their fullest potential. Located on a 20 acre residential parish campus, Resurrection is dedicated to maintaining a safe and caring Christian community in which every child’s gifts are identified, nurtured and celebrated. We are a parish ministry of Resurrection Catholic Church, but welcome students and families of all faiths. In 2004, RCS was identified as one of the top schools in the U.S. We are the only U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon School in Lakeland and one of only three Blue Ribbon schools in Polk County. After graduation, our students regularly advance to the best high school programs in Polk County including Santa Fe Catholic High School, the International Baccalaureate High School and the Harrison School of the Arts.

We are the only U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon School in Lakeland and one of only three Blue Ribbon schools in Polk County scoring in the top 10% in the nation on standardized testing. We also score above the national average on the National Catholic Educational Association religious assessment, ACRE.

As Eagles at Resurrection Catholic School, our students are soar with abundant opportunities to expand their horizons both within and beyond the traditional classroom setting. Our diverse array of extracurricular activities and athletic program empower students to unleash their creativity and nurture the unique talents bestowed upon them by God. Moreover, our students actively engage with the community through various avenues such as service projects, fundraisers, and unwavering support for our Diocesan mission in the Dominican Republic.
