Registration

Registration for Resurrection Catholic School takes place in mid-January each year. Priority of acceptance into the school will be determined by the following criteria:

  • The family has one or more children presently attending the school.

  • The family is a registered and supporting member of the Resurrection Catholic Church

  • The family is a registered member of another Catholic parish in the area.

  • Other families.

If the maximum classroom or school enrollment is attained, the student online application information remains on file. Further contact will be made if /when classroom vacancies become available. Children entering kindergarten must be five (5) years old on or before September 1st of the school year. Children entering first grade must be six (6) years old on or before September 1st, and must have successfully completed kindergarten. Children entering second grade must be seven (7) years old on or before September 1st, and must have successfully completed first grade. New students will be on probation until the end of the first trimester.

New Students

All NEW families are required to apply online through our FACTS system.   This simplifies the enrollment process and provides parents with the ability to to track the status of their child’s application.  To begin the Online Application process, Create an Account. Upon account creation, you will receive an email containing a verification link. Once your email address has been verified, log in to your account and Create A New Student Application for your child. You will then have the flexibility to log in and out of your account and access your open application.

Online Application Checklist:

  • Complete Online Application  

  • Upload the required documentation:

    • State Certified Birth Certificate

    • Current/Previous Report Card, if applicable, K-8

    • Standardized Test Scores, K-8

    • IEP/504 Plan, if applicable

    • Diagnostic or Psychological Evaluation Results, if applicable

  • Submit online application and pay application fee ($20/per student application) to FACTS **

Once your student online application and required documentation* has been reviewed,  we will contact you to schedule a tour/screening/shadow day (if applicable) for your student(s)***.

After the screening, we will contact you with additional online enrollment procedures. 

Additional information for all NEW students:  Please submit this information to the school office:

  • State Certified Birth Certificate (uploaded with online application)

  • Baptismal Certificate, if applicable

  • HRS State of Florida Certificate of Immunization, up to date

  • HRS State of Florida Health Examination, dated after 9/2023

  • Scholarship Award ID numbers for the 2024-25 school year, if applicable

  • Parent Signed  VPK Certificate of Eligibility for VPK4 year old students

Additional Enrollment Information

  • Financial assistance applications are due by April 15 and are the responsibility of the applying family. Only registered students are eligible to apply for assistance.
  • Resurrection Catholic School participates in the Step Up for Students and AAA corporate scholarship programs. Application forms and additional information are available online at www.stepupforstudents.org or www.aaascholarships.org.
  • The Diocese of Orlando requires all parent volunteers to be fingerprinted. Fingerprinting is valid for 5 years. In addition, all parent volunteers/vistors are screened through the Raptor System.
  • Kindergarten through Grade 8 students wear school uniforms available from Risse Brothers School Uniforms.
  • All Preschool students must be fully toilet trained prior to the start of school.
