The children form close bonds with each other, teachers and many parents giving an added sense of security to the student and his/her family. In our children’s daily lives, it is hard to provide constant guidance at times, but with the help of Resurrection’s Catholic School family, our children have many people watching over them giving them that extra confidence to achieve great things. - Current Resurrection Catholic School Parent
I feel RCS is “home.” Every teacher, from homeroom to special education, takes a sincere interest in the well being, growth and development of each student. Smiles abound at Resurrection. I am always greeted warmly and with a smile from every teacher or parent I pass. Mrs. Genzel is a “hands-on” principal and is accessible and willing to listen to our concerns. My children, husband and I are all happy at Resurrection Catholic School. - First Year Family of three boys ranging from Kindergarten to Middle School
My husband and I were attending an anniversary celebration for Pastor Val Sheedy’s 40th anniversary dinner. Upon chance, I sat next to Nancy Genzel at dinner. At the time, I was considering enrolling my child into parochial school since the public school system was failing. I am a certified teacher and have taught at both public and parochial schools, and I love both. As I listened to Mrs. Genzel’s conversation throughout the evening, unbeknownst to her, I was convinced RCS was where all three of my children would attend their middle school years. I feel strongly that they benefited from this experience and so have I. - Parent of three children who attended RCS’s middle school from 1996-2003
RCS has so much to offer. I believe they have an excellent curriculum, provide students with a good Catholic education and have more to offer than public schools. Mrs. Genzel, the principal, is nationally renowned, and her staff does an excellent job with the students. The children are very happy there, and they are kept safe at all times. My grandchildren are very happy with their school. - Grandmother of two current students
Resurrection is like a big family. Everyone takes care of each other just as they would their own family. - Family of RCS alumni
