Our Parish

Resurrection Catholic School is a ministry of our parish community – Resurrection Catholic Church.  Resurrection parish was founded in 1963 in Lakeland, Florida, and grew to over 2000 families by the year 2000.  The parish has always had a deep commitment to developing the Catholic faith through education, while centered on liturgy, worship, and prayer.  In addition to the school, the parish also has an active youth ministry and religious education program, outreach programs to the elderly and the poor, music ministries, and a multitude of other social and charitable ministries. The commitment of Resurrection Parish to our school is demonstrated in many ways, big and small.  The clergy provide weekly liturgies for the school children and regularly attend events in the classrooms and at school.   The parish prays regularly for our school at Mass and provides sacramental preparation for our children.  Parish organizations, such as the Knights of Columbus, help sponsor school activities.  The parish has provided over $1 million dollars in tuition assistance and operational funds for the school over the last 5 years.  For more information, please visit the Resurrection Catholic Church site.
