Resurrection Catholic School's Board of Education was established in 1997 in order to advise the Pastor and School Administration. The Resurrection Board of Education consists of three ex-officio members and members of the school and parish community. The Board assists the school in strategic planning, institutional development and formation of school policy. The Board is credited with an extensive list of accomplishments during its short history including developing a successful financial plan to raise teachers' salaries on par with the county public schools, establishing a number of financial assistance opportunities for school families, and completing a 20 year master plan for campus facility development. In 2004, the Board was recognized by the National Catholic Education Association with its Outstanding Board award.
