Resurrection Catholic School is accredited by the Florida Catholic Conference. We achieved initial accreditation in 1998. In September 2005, Resurrection Catholic School was evaluated by the Florida Catholic Conference and was granted official reaccreditation through December 2013. The following are quotes from the 2005 report written by the accreditation team:

"[The team] found Resurrection Catholic School deserving of the many accolades it has earned; the Catholic Schools for Tomorrow Award, recognition as a U.S. Department of Education No Child Left Behind Blue Ribbon School, and an award for Outstanding School Boards. Under the leadership of a nationally recognized principal of distinction and a supportive pastor, Resurrection is committed to enhanced faith formation and an academic program that challenges every student to excel."

"Resurrection Catholic School is an excellent school with high expectations for every student. Innovative programs, opportunities to showcase student achievement, and a commitment to assist students with identified learning needs are strengths of the academic program…. Positive discipline, frequent communication between home and school, and parent involvement in the school create an atmosphere in which students feel safe and secure with their ability to learn."

The Florida Catholic Conference Accreditation Committee (FCCAC) operates with the approval of the Florida Catholic Conference and the bishops of the seven dioceses of Florida. The Committee grants accreditation to a school and monitors the school’s continued compliance with the accreditation standards. Resurrection Catholic School is the only U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon School in Lakeland, Florida. In addition, Resurrection is one of only three Blue Ribbon schools in Polk County.
